Dr. Mark Worthen Not only did his 10 years work as a Los Angeles County Beach lifeguard provide him with his first experience as a primary provider of emergency care, but also in public education, including skin and sun damage protection. Dr. Worthen met his wife, Olga, while they were both in Medical School. They have two sons and a daughter who are all NCAA University Soccer players and all aspire to future medical careers. As a family, they enjoy many different recreational activities together including surfing, back packing, mountain hiking and snowboarding. Dr. Worthen’s personal interests include tropical fish, gardening, reading and Green Energy Sources. Both he and his wife are fluent in Spanish. Dr Worthen did 2 years surgical training at New York Medical College and 3 years of Family Medicine training at Medical College of Ohio. He has 20 combined years of private practice, emergency room and rural health care, the foundation for his current clinical experience. Dr. Worthen is Board Certified in both Family Medicine and Board Eligible in Geriatrics and Emergency Medicine and is a member of the American Association of Esthetic Medicine.
